Civil Construction Company LTD
The quarry site at Providence was established in 1961 and has been in operation at least for the past 62 years. The site is located on the outskirts of the first Seychelles designated Industrial Zone along Petit Paris/Brilliant subdistricts and was operated by Petit and Doubleton company. The company was acquired by the government in 1977 and was placed under the management of a parastatal company called Special Projects Unit (SPU).
In 1991, the board of directors of SPU decided to change the name of the company to Civil Construction Company Limited (CCCL). In November 1998, the company was privatized.
